TWENTY-NINE
Tiaâs mouth slowly curved into a smile the following morning when she awoke to the sight of Sam lying in bed next to her. His arm was firmly wrapped around her waist and her nightshirt was bunched up at her hips, and his naked legs were intimately intertwined with her own.
She slowly extricated her legs, gently removed his arm, and carefully climbed out of bed. She gazed down at his sculpted body, totally bare but for his navy silk boxers. The man was absolutely gorgeous. Even in his sleep.
She headed into the bathroom, where she washed her face and brushed her teeth, ran a comb through her hair. She pulled a new toothbrush from a cabinet and set it out for Sam, then she went back to the bedroom.
âSam. Wake up, baby,â she murmured as she crawled back into bed.
He opened his eyes and smiled. âGood morning,â he murmured in a sexy, sleep-filled voice.
âGood morning, Sam.â She leaned over to kiss him lightly on his mouth. When she pulled back, he lifted a hand and said, âDonât come too close, baby. Iâve got morning breath.â
She laughed. âIâve got a new toothbrush for you,â she said. âCome on.â
Rubbing his eyes and yawning, he got up and followed her into the bathroom.
âItâs right there,â she said, pointing to the countertop next to the sink. She slipped on her shower cap and turned on the shower, then she looked over her shoulder and said, âCare to join me when youâre done?â
He quickly turned to face her, but before he could answer, she whipped off her nightshirt and stepped into the shower. Within minutes, he had brushed his teeth and pulled off his boxers, and was crossing the room to join her.
âCome here, baby,â he said in a husky voice. He pulled her water-slickened body toward his own and claimed her lips for a long, searing kiss. When he finally released her, he was visibly aroused. âExactly what I needed to start my day off right,â he murmured with a sexy grin.
She smiled and said, âTurn around so I can wash your back.â She spread lather onto his back, continuing down to his buttocks and the backs of his thighs. Then she turned him around before reaching out to caress his broad, muscular chest with her soapy hands.
Sam squeezed shower gel into his hands and slowly worked up a thick lather. âYour turn,â he murmured. He turned her around and worked lather all over her back and buttocks, prolonging the task. Then he turned her to face him and took her firm breasts into his soapy hands, rubbing them in a circular motion with his thumbs as he slowly worked his way inward to her beckoning nipples.
When she moaned, he gently pushed her under the spray of water, smoothed his hands across her breasts to rinse them, and leaned down to take each into his mouth, rapidly switching from one to the other.
âOh, Sam.â She arched her back and pressed her breasts forward while trailing her fingers up and down his back.
